Responsabilità

PROJECT PLANNING MANAGER

Purpose of the job:

Responsible to develop and mantain the project schedule in order to manage efficiently the commitments of the project (tender, contract or program) in terms of time and cost and to take part in the RC workload construction.

The TMS Design Engineer, as member of the project design team, is in charge of TMS subsystem engineering design and deployment in the scope of standalone or platform level projects in Italy and other European countries.

TMS SOFTWARE ARCHITECT

Traffic Management System is a key technology in the railway signaling business, providing a set of advanced features for railway traffic automation and regulation.

The variety and complexity covers almost any request coming from the world of traffic control centers.

POSITION OVERVIEW: 

The purpose of the job is to specify and design software architecture of Traffic Management System (TMS) product software (or part of its) and support the Product Architect in finding the best implementation strategies for TMS Software Product. Moreover, the job will consist of coordinating and monitoring a team of developers (internal and/or external), writing/updating technical documentation, attending as Product reference in meeting within Customer, partecipating to international workshops and joint design meetings.

Essential: University Degree level in Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science is the educational requirement for this role. You have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in complex software developments based on Windows Systems and a deep knowledge of software programming language (VB, C/C++, C#, WCF, WPF, MS-SQL). Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Hyper-V, knowledge of IT architectures (client/server, workstation/Blade, IP networking, routing and SQL databases.) is needed for the role. TMS SOFTWARE DESIGNER

Traffic Management System is a key technology in the railway signaling business, providing a set of advanced features for railway traffic automation and regulation.
Most of the european railway operators are investing to create national/regional railway control centers. The variety and complexity covers almost any request coming from the world of traffic control centers.

Traffic Management Systems provide to railway operators advanced automation and decision support functions to plan, regulate, automate and optimize the train traffic circulation on complex network.
These systems are based on special software application, normally running on IT infrastructure/datacenter specially designed for business continuity and mission critical application.

Educational Requirements

SYSTEM ENGINEER JR - NEOLAUREATI IN INGEGNERIA

The System Engineer for Signaling systems (including other no signaling technologies such as Civil Works, Trackworks) will be in charge of:

  • identifying and analyzing the requirements (contractual and technical system requirements);
  • Defining the functional requirement, the architecture, the system interfaces deploying the Alstom Generic Solution;
  • Designing Signaling Systems new functionalities
  • Applying the standard design methods & tools, configuration & change management processes in accordance to Alstom standards;
  • Preparing and participating to design review, configuration and delivery review;
  • Preparing the relevant part of technical document package related to SW and data preparation delivered to Verification & Validation team
  • Interfacing customer and other partners for technical reviews

Requirements::

  • Engineering Bachelor or Master Degree preferably in Electrical, Telecom, Software, Electronics

SOFTWARE APPLICATION ENGINEER

Il ruolo all’interno del gruppo di progettazione prevede studio e configurazione, tramite strumenti dedicati, di sistemi informatici per l’automazione in ambito ferroviario. I progetti verranno gestiti dalla progettazione, alla configurazione fino all’attivazione in campo. A supporto di progetti specifici sarà richiesta attività di programmazione di base.

Nello specifico i sistemi che vengono realizzati sono della tipologia “Traffic Management System”. SI tratta di sistemi complessi per la supervisione intelligente del sistema ferroviario. Partendo dalle time table (orario ferroviario) il sistema comanda gli altri sistemi di controllo per autorizzare su specifici itinerari la movimentazione dei treni dalla stazione di partenza a quella di arrivo, tiene conto delle caratteristiche dei rotabili e della linea, ottimizza e attua azioni per recuperare eventuali ritardi.

In condizioni di normale funzionamento il sistema supervisiona l’intera stazione/linea, gestendo i segnali, i deviatoi, i limiti di velocità e tutti gli altri enti di piazzale per permettere ai treni di muoversi come programmato, si interfaccia poi a tutti i sistemi ausiliari di informazione al pubblico al fine automatizzare completamente la ferrovia.

Nel ruolo si identificano due principali task:

    • Sviluppo degli attuali strumenti di progettazione
    • Implementazione di nuove applicazioni volte a ottimizzare le fasi di configurazione del sistema
    • Sviluppo di applicazioni dedicate all’automazione dei processi di Verifica e Validazione
